Within a short drive of Anaconda are the Fairmont Hot Springs, Discovery Ski Area, Mt Haggin Nordic Ski Area, and scenic Georgetown Lake. The Fairmont Hot Springs Resort offers mineral hot springs pools, fine-dining, and a spa just under 15 minutes from Anaconda. Discovery Ski Area offers year-round fun, with downhill and crosscountry skiing in the winter and mountain biking in the summer. Georgetown Lake’s crystal-clear waters and surrounding snow-capped peaks provide the perfect setting for fishing and water sports.
Outdoor attractions in addition to Georgetown Lake include the Pintler Wilderness Area and Deer Lodge National Forest that cover the surrounding mountainous region.
